Rodenbach – Yes We Can!

While January brings change elsewhere in the world, we’re sure this development will be a sight for sore eyes.

2017 sees the release on Irish beer fans of the renowned classic Rodenbach in a 330ml can! And we’re confident @premierintbeers we can all agree this is a very welcome thing indeed!

Whether you’re on a path of discovery with new beer styles or a veteran beer lover, Rodenbach, Flanders red-brown ale is a true classic among beer, let alone “sour” ales.

A mixed fermentation including secondary fermentation and maturation in oak casks (“foeders”) give it the same sweet-sour flavour and complex fruitiness as wine. RODENBACH consists of 3/4 young beer and 1/4 beer matured two years in oak, although blend vary in the more refined Rodenbach Gran Cru, or the recently releases of Rodenbach Vintage and Rodenbach Alexander.

And did we say it’s now in a can? Available in off-licences and bars from January onwards in limited quantities.
